Terms and Conditions
1) Registration fee of £150 is required before a student will be issued with an Offer of Place Letter. (The Registration fee is not refundable). To gain an interview at the British High Commission (BHC) You are required to obtain a confirmation of place letter for which a deposit of 50% tuition fee will be required and also Accommodation arrangement letter which will be responsibility of student. LCBA can provide assistance in procurement of accommodation.
2) In the event of refusal of visa, refund of the tuition fees will be made less registration fee £150.
3) Enrolment for a course, together with the payment of the required deposit/full fee, creates a binding
agreement.
4) If for any reason a course is cancelled, students will be offered an alternative course, or a refund of fees.
5) If students change their course of study no refunds will be given where the revised course involves fewer subjects or lower fees.
6) Students are required to maintain attendance throughout the duration of their course. The College is obliged to apply home office rules and insist that a full-time course is a minimum of 15 hours, of daytime study per week. We are required by the home office to record your attendance and supply any and all details when requested by them or any other Law Enforcement agency in the UK.
7) Failure to attend 2 consecutive months (without notice) will result in dismissal from the College and forfeiture of any remaining fees.
8) Overseas students (on student visas) must comply with the Immigration Rules regardless of what any employee, agent etc has said and LCBA has no jurisdiction to over rule these, for further information see www ukvisas.gov.uk/en/howtoapply/vafs
9) LCBA reserves the right to refuse admission to any student.
10) We also reserve the right to suspend or dismiss any student without refund of fees in the event of serious misconduct or unsatisfactory attendance/progress.
11) Failure to appear at the agreed date with out information to college will result in forfeiture of fee and notification to home office’
12) LCBA reserves the right to change the times of the courses.
13) The college prospectus is correct at the time of printing but is subject to alteration.
14) Fees must be fully paid to date to allow a student to sit for any examination.
15) It is the student’s responsibility to ensure the course or courses that he or she intends to undertake meets their requirements.
16) Computer use is covered by the LCBA ‘Terms and Conditions'.
17) The terms of this agreement shall be governed by the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts of all matters arising.
